How liner dimensions are estimated
Liner length = pond length + twice the maximum depth + twice the overlap at each edge. Apply the same formula to the width. A 3 × 2 m pond, 0.8 m deep with 0.3 m overlap, needs an estimated 5.2 × 4.2 m sheet.
Measure at the widest and deepest points. Shelves, uneven slopes, folds and anchoring can require additional liner. Check the actual profile and manufacturer instructions before ordering; this is not a pond-volume calculation.
